Engineering company Advanced Composite Structures Australia (ACS-A) specialises in the development of technology and products associated with advanced FRP composites. They have recently worked on several renewable energy projects, including concept development of composite components for offshore energy applications.
As a proactive supporter and bid participant of the Blue Economy CRC, ACS-A’s General Manager was one of eight panel invitees in the recent interview process before the Cooperative Research Centre Advisory Committee in Canberra. This interview was the final stage in the bid process. If successful, ACS-A will become engaged in further offshore renewable energy projects – placing greater focus on utilising advanced composite materials.
