Ocean Energy Systems (OES) is an intergovernmental collaboration between more than twenty countries, operating under a framework established by the International Energy Agency (IEA). Australia joined as a member in May 2018.

OES’s key education and research programs aim to accelerate the viability, uptake and acceptance of ocean energy systems in an environmentally acceptable way.
